An auto accident settlement letter is a letter that you write to the insurance company that outlines your case and asks for compensation for the injuries that you sustained as a result of someone else’s negligence in an auto accident.  It is also known as a demand letter because it closes demanding the company for compensation for your injuries.  A lawyer can help you write on of these, but will either charge you a hefty fee or take a large chunk of your settlement money.  Because of this, it may sometimes be in your best interest to write the letter yourself.
